Nanotechnology researchers at the University of California-Berkeley have developed e-whiskers for robots, enabling them to feel and “see” their surroundings ten times better than by using other methods.
According to Wired magazine, “The "e-whiskers" are .. able to respond to levels of pressure similar to that of placing a bank note upon a table.”
Nanoscientists drew inspiration for their robot whiskers from cat whiskers.
Previously, researchers have mimicked gecko feet and shark fins, for instance. They are using intelligent design to mimic solutions seen in the animal kingdom.
The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 1:19– 20 (NIV):
“What may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.AP)'> For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made.”
